Series: Tales of the Spirit World: The Owl & the Fox (planned)Okay, so when I went and made a human version of my Spirit Library fox, Kuzunoha , I knew I would one day have to do one of her boss, Wan Shi Tong. And, after many false starts, here he is!
Soo... before Wan Shi Tong met Kuzunoha, he had to visit all the different libraries of the world on his own to collect new materials (sort of his fault for parking his collection in the middle of a HUGE FREAKIN' DESERT
). And since most human libraries aren't built to admit GIGANTIC spirit owls into the stacks (not to mention GIGANTIC spirit owls tend to frighten the beejezzus out of unsuspecting patrons), Wan Shi Tong learned to adopt a human guise, and......
... huh. I just realized I now have justification to have both Wan Shi Tong and Kuzunoha to take human form in the next TOSW. YES.
ignore the background - it's crappy and ugly and i swear to god i will one day learn to draw buildings properly!

Yes, Washi Tong does look impressive and venerable as a human. But gigantic owl spirit is just more....legendary.
Many human scholars, but just one Washi Tong. No human could learn ten thousand things.

But I gotta agree with Miss Kuzu on this one - while he's certainly impressive this way, the human form's just not got quite the same oomph as the owl one - whether that's because his natural form's the latter, or 'cause of the two-stories-tall-and-could-eat-you-without-noticing bit.

Now Kuzunoha, I realize that you do not like this form, and that's okay. But in an informal setting it's okay to at least hint that you are attracted to the Head Librarian if you are. Doubly so if said object of affection is absent. ^_^
And Sylva? Have you seen my attempts at artwork? Trust me, if I were to ever need illustrations for something, you'd be among the first I'd call.
