Title: Edge Chronicles' Dark Side

Description: The Edge Chronicles are my favourite books in the world, written by Paul Stewart and illustrated by Chris Riddell. They're about this fantastical world- the Edge- and most books focus on following Twig, an eventual Sky Pirate. There are many mystical creatures in the Edge, most of which are dangerous, and Twig encouters practically all of them in his adventures. All of the books are illustrated beautifully, so I thought I'd have a go at drawing some of the more evil inhabitants of this strange world. In the bottom left-hand corner of the piece is a ratbird, usually found on Sky Pirate's ships, and next to it is the Gloamglozer; a horrible, evil creature created from the minds of the academics in the past. The Gloamglozer is a shapeshifter, and doesn't know its true form until it discovers a scroll with a picture of what a gloamglozer supposedly looks like. It takes this form, as you can see directly above in the middle, with horns and a hairy, bull-like face. In the bottom right-hand corner is a Wig-Wig; a creature which has a taste for Banderbears- bear-like creatures. The top left is a sky pirate caught in the Twilight Woods, and the top right is a Skullpelt; another evil being. I'm going to draw another version of this, except including all of the main characters and good people of the Edge.

Information: Took about three hours, copying the pictures from different books in the series.
