Description
Title: The Great KingfisherDescription: This is a picture that I've done for my mum as a Christmas present (but she doesn't know about it yet- ssshhh!) and the reason I drew a Kingfisher is because they're her favourite type of bird. Anyway, since this is probably going to be my last deviation before the 25th of December, Merry Christmas!
Information: I drew it using three other pictures as references, and just coloured in using pretty crap colouring pencils; I badly need to get some new ones, which don't break every time they come within three inches of a piece of paper.

That is amazing. It reminds me off when my friend used to draw these birds, they are absolutely amazing.
The pencilwork is amazing and you really managed to get the right balance between shading for depth and shading for colour.

You may try to add something to produce the effect of motion or maybe some birdish kind of props. That if you are making another one
