The owl model is designed by Nguyen Hung Cuong; diagrammed in "Origami Tanteidan 15th Convention" and Nicholas Terry's "50 Hours of Origami +". The latter book is SUPER and I recommend it highly

I like how the owl is even perched at an angle, almost.. as if its head is tilted, in a sense. I like the way you've placed the piece on the letters and how you've provided a backdrop similar in tone and colour. There is a great atmosphere here because of how everything seems to complement each other and.. yeah, the depth of field greatly enhances the main subject matter in turn.
As for the actual piece itself, I find the material you used to be quite interesting in the way it has a pattern on it, and it feels very solid as well, but fragile too.
