Nyah~! I finally finished my piccu. 83 I'm pretty happy with the outcome, too! This was mainly used as practice to try out some different style. Mostly human practice and smoother lines and coloring. XD Anyhoot, I wanted to redo an old deviation because I wanted to show that I've made some improvments ((even if just a little)) and I felt this was the best way to do it. x3 *rambley-ramble* Kay, well, I hope you all enjoy it! n_____n And just a side note, trees and snakes are not Akuta's frieeends. D:
....Hur huur. :B And I made a little Haku just because I slapped one on the old deviation.

It's a bit large, but it's necessary to be able to see all the lovely detail ^^ But I still think a little resizing wouldn't have taken away the effect.
Try to make the shadows even darker and the highlights lighter, for even more contrast. Also, a tip a friend gave me a while ago was to use reflections. An example: you could put a tint of purple from the moon into the brown of you hair
You've made a great background for this! It gives me a certain feeling that I can't explain, but I love it!

Thanks so much Zeki! I tried really hard to make it more detailed without being overly distracting. X3 The snake was fun to do, but I wasn't so sure it turned out good since I've never really made a snake. XD Tem Tem has a tutorial on scales~?? O8 I must zoom over and check iiitttt. ;D
