MY FIRST FRAME BY FRAME ANIMATION EVER MADE!my intro to Flash Animation final project...... I really got tired of tring to make this look good. I hate it. Completely and honestly, I hate it.
Morten tried helping me put it all together, but the files he sent couldn't be opened on my school's CS5. So I did all of this by myself in a rush, and it shows.
Oh well, at least I met all of the requirements for the final, that's all that matters :>

Overall I LOVE animating frame by frame! Really, its so much fun! Sadly, I do not have Flash at all on my laptop, so I won't ever beable to do it again (le sigh).
Any who!!! The bubbles you see are things/people that I like:
-Infinity scarves (durrr)
-corndogs
-Ludo (one of my fave bands)
-Jason Segel (my celeb crush)
-Morten *MNRart
-Morgan ^ditto9
-Pokeball = POKEMON!!!!
Total Time: more than 15hours...to get everything drawn and sized correctly.
Tools Sai/Photoshop for everything drawn & Flash CS5 for the animation and music

(I had a ton more people I wanted to include...but I ran out of time and motivation to do so. I hope you all forgive me...)

I think I messed up the order the frames were supposed to go in....but whatevs. lol I finished it and thats all that matters, the rest of my class just made little website animted banners with text

Well, if you wanted to, there are a few free flash animation programs out there. They're probably quite different than you're used to, though.

*note that I don't have any experience with Adobe Flash, so I can't compare them.

for 15 hours that pretty damn good. I'm at a tech chool here in oklahoma (shocker I know) and one of my projects took 4 weeks at 3 hours every day. and it was only like 5 or so minutes long. of course I took the draw every frame route so i got pissed off alot and took breaks and yelled at my screen in the middle of class lol.

15 hours is pretty long indeed, but I guess frame-by-frame animation usually does take that long indeed!
It looks pretty neat for a first attempt already! Running pose is super hard to animate ;w;
I think the newer versions of Photoshop can create animations too? In a frame-by-frame basis :3c

ah I hate running poses! I cheated a bit with mine, and it still looked like crud.
yeah I have gif animation on my elements 9. But I would love to have full animation reign in Flash
