Have you been out and about in your new car then, Tony? NYM railway is ace. Am I right to assume that is steam in the foreground? It gives atmosphere!

I have! It was Pickering War weekend and there were lots of WWII uniforms in evidence. They all looked like extras for Dads Army.
This is at Grosmont Station and the train was just pulling away from the platform in this shot.
There was also a Bi plane doing some aerobatics over the station but it dissapeared before I got the camera out.

I walked into the WWII weekend last year by chance and I loved it. The turnout was impressive, I even considered getting myself a uniform for this year.
