Square Enix+Disney=...Strangeness. If Square had more control out of that game, they might have used actual weapons...Instead of oversized keys. Who would've ever heard of that? X3

Given that Square came up with the equally impractical Buster Sword, Masamune, Gunblade, Jump Rope of Death, Attack Blitzball, and whatever the hell Rinoa uses... I'm willing to bet the oversized keys were entirely on purpose.
Besides, those keys can seriously fuck your shit up. Riku will vouch for this.

Riku's key is pointy, and so are a few of Soras, but most of them are pretty *bludgeon you over the head til you die* type of things. I guess that's good if you don't fight enemies with any actual blood. Maybe when they disappear in a poof of smoke, they're really exploding in a poof of blood...
But it's early in the morning and I am not thinking sanely, so this is probably all just crap leaking out of my brain and onto my keyboard.

actually, in the japanese version of KH:CoM Axel does say hell. IN THE SWEARING CONTEXT! lol. I remember when I first read the subtitle.
Axel: "You better put on a hell of a good show for me, Sora"
Me: "HOMG! AXEL SAID HELL! .... And he's part Disney character!"

I see where you're coming from but because people use the word hell, damn, and crap all the time those words technically have lost their status as "Foul language" no matter what context it is in. Even kids shows like Hey Arnold used the word "crap" and Rocko (while never said) had the word hell visible in a few episodes.
