Kappas are a type of Japanese water demon. They are one of my favorite pieces of Japanese folklore. Here is a needle felted Kappa I made. This was my first attempt at needle felting.
He is approximately an inch and a half tall and has a little shell on his back. (Which unfortunately isn't visible in this photo ... See it here: [link] )I'm thinking about selling these on my Etsy shop. [link]

heck,the only stufff i know about kappas comes from a comic called Yokaiden. but i have heard some really bad stuff about them from elsewhere. i still loves them!!!
