Beautiful. It's like a shimmering purple jewel, yet still definitely has the form and details of an eye.

thank you I tried for the jewel look because I often go with uniform color, but I applied the color differently on photoshop to get this effect

Very interesting...  I thought I was drawn to this because I love eye "stuff" and the spectacular color of this spectacular iris BUUUUUTTTT... upon closer inspection I find that I can't take my eyes off of the many teeny-tiny wisps of purple coming off of those beautiful black upper eyelashes!!  Nice touch!!
