For mine personal tastes there is too much saturation. I was watching the original shoot and the quality is so so..and there is the same saturation problem. In any case, for me the combination of yellow and red (2 strong warm tones) too much saturated... in general are bad always....i know this problem, because i have it in some works and from some months i was trying to fix it.
In any case ur idea and the work on the bird is lovely and remember me the born of a little fenix
