God I've been holding onto this for far too long, and now it's finally finished! Because of uni I had to keep putting it off and off but now Alzirr finally has his time to shine!

This is Alzirr, my newest OC and my first actual anthropomorphic character You can find his bio here: sta.sh/01bjgzjkpyia

Basically he's a really cool alien based off of the actual star Alzirr of the Gemini constellation, and in the pic here he's pretty enraged about something. However, in all actuality he's a sweet little ball of fluff who can seem guarded at times but is super curious and loving.

The image took me approximately four hours max, and I wanted to go for a heavily stylized yet realistic look. This drawing helped me practice ALOT with different types of thematic lighting, shading, and of course the usual mix of animal and human anatomy that goes into anthropomorphic characters. It was also easier to work with limited colors on this one too, as the heavy use of grey helped me understand how to effectively paint with value in mind. Overall I'm happy with how this piece came out, and I hope to share more of Alzirr and his fabulous alien race in the future
