The idea for this concept was to create something wholly alien, bizarre, and terrifying, to better unnerve the Aradatai's foe in combat. The sand-potion used to create these creatures is psychically active, so it stands to reason that it may read its opponents mind and mold itself into a shape its opponent finds frightening.
