The Generosity and Camaraderie of StrangersSinokyo looked at the small pile of food that was left. He was worried about Crepuscular, who hadn't eaten since he woke up. Every time Sinokyo tried to get him to eat, the amoux just shook his head and went back to sleeping. Whe'taki was out scouting for others who had survived the cataclysmic flood. She wouldn't be back for another hour. Sinokyo shifted his coils and grabbed a small piece of food, bite size for the amoux. He nudged Crepuscular with his head, and all he got was an eyelid cracking open before closing again. He nudged him again, harder this time. CrepuscularΒ bared his teeth and asked what he wanted. Sinokyo held out the piece of food. Finally, he ate something else. Sinokyo let some tension ease out of his body. Maybe they'd all make it, yet.
