Description This is made with black suede and beige suede each wrapped halfway around a 7" ring. I then painted the beige suede with white acrylic and strung it with half natural and half black artificial sinew creating a spiral pattern with black and white glass beads. I then used one black and one white turkey feather on each side to complete the piece.

Getting a picture of this was very difficult since the white feather is oh so slightly transparent. So I couldn't use white, otherwise it would get washed, couldn't use black otherwise other side disappears. Couldn't use any other colour, because the white feather would appear as not white. I don't like that you can see the glare from the flash, but I've tried just about everything I know to not use it and couldn't come up with something.

Thanks to *sleepinglynx and `wolfsax for their help and advice. And to *sleepinglynx for the title.

Huge hugs to =Moniquette for removing the glare, she's amazing!

Sorry, but when I read your comment I couldn't help but laugh. For you see, I'm one of the two people who founded *dAPagan . I've had a couple of pieces I've wanted to submit, but dislike submitting my own work on the grounds of not knowing if I'm being biased or not.

Thanks for the appreciation, this one was fun to make.

LOL! Now who'd have guessed that one?

I just thought this piece would be PERFECT for the 2 year contest Plus, maybe if another person posts to the artisan crafts we might get that 3rd requirement for the section. hehe

I want to get more involved in pagan community here, but without a computer of my own I'm afraid my art is on hold

If I wasn't one of the judges I would submit either this one or [link] . But I'm not allowed. That whole bias thing, ya know?

We'd love to see more from you and have you be more active! Plan on getting your own computer anytime soon?

LOL...wow, you can see I'm a bit out of sorts lately.
That is beautiful! You've definitely got a great niche for your creativity!

Well, I have my b/f's (who lives with me) right now that I get one once or twice a day. As for one of my own, I have to wait til I get some more money flowing into the house.

Looks good...and if you can, take pictures without the flash, looks better that way

I tried taking pictures without the flash, they came out way to blurry to be usable. And I don't have a tripod to use to steady the camera.
