This is my OC for the Secret Wars storyline. Don't worry. As a villain, he's darker than he looks.

What I was going for in this character is a person who appears completely innocent and upstanding, but who is actually cruel, manipulative, and possibly insane. He has that Robin Hood-esque get up with a jester mask, which can make him look like a hero or villian (depending on your perspective), but you don't have to take him seriously all the time. This makes it easier for him to slip in amongst heroes and villains alike.

Jester, AKA Alfred Clark, thinks of life as one big play, and everyone's a character with a part to play. His obession started as an obession with being the perfect actor, but this eventually progressed into a form of psychosis.

Ironically, Jester's become so good his craft that it's become impossible for anyone to tell his true emotions from the ones he fabricates. Not even he remembers his true personality anymore. To him, there is only the next act in the play, the next scene, and the next emotion that he must work to make his "audience" feel.

Generally, Jester believes that his sole purpose and reason for existence is to advance the plot of the play. He normally enters a group of people and studies their habits and faults, and then uses this to sow discord amongst the people, and then stands by and observes the resulting conflict, using what he observes to improve the realism of his own acting.

I think this guy will definitely add some spice to the Secret Wars Storyline, if he doesn't get himself killed too early on...
