Description
The Soviet naval research facility was discovered by Allied command when a Destroyer patrol went missing after stumbling upon the facility in the **** Sea. Allied command decides to send in their best field agent, Tanya Adams, to infiltrate and destroy the base. Based on intel gathered from the Allies' spy satellite network, base security was mostly concentrated at any approach from land, and the presence of a large number of fixed and mobile flak guns meant an airborne insertion was too risky. Strangely enough, the base had few coastline defenses, though it was likely that a Typhoon-class submarine wolfpack was in the area. Tanya decided that she would enter the facility from the water, which would not be a problem for the champion swimmer.

The Nighthawk, thanks to it's radar-cloaking armor, managed to drop off Tanya along with a team of Navy SEALs and a Sniper near the facility without being detected. After the helicopter left Tanya split off from the SEALs, who would move with the Sniper to a vantage point overlooking the base and enter from one side, while Tanya would enter from another side through the waters and set up ''Plan B" before entering the research facility.

"You sure you don't want us to join you down there?", Red One asked.
"I'll be fine. They won't be able to pick me up on radar or sonar that well if i go by myself", the special agent responded
"Alright, ma'am just sayin'. Radio in when you've set up 'Plan B', by then i figure we'll be in position to assault the base."
"Good, we'll regroup at the objective, set the charges, then bug out. What we can't blow, we'll leave to the Navy to blow up. Eyes peeled, weapons locked and loaded. Keep an eye out for them Scopes."
"And a round in the chamber, miss Adams" replied the British SAS sniper, cocking the bolt of his Arctic Warfare sniper rifle.
"You be careful too ma'am", said Red One
"Relax, this ain't my first rodeo! See ya'll soon." With that Tanya wades into the water and starts swimming. Red One gives one final look before turning around and motions for the rest of Red team to start moving. Scopes shoulders his rifle and begins walking, pauses, and says to Red One, "I've heard stories about her. She's a legend in this war it seems. I have heard she wears a bullet-proof sports bra"
Red One chuckles, "Yeah, custom made"

As she swam she constantly checked her watch, which had a built in sonar for detecting submarines. She did not make too much noise or splashes, swimming at a steady pace towards the facility. So far nothing had appeared on her sonar, and this made her uneasy. Why would the commies leave the front door wide open, wondered Tanya as she reached the first shipyard and planted the C4 explosives at the base before swimming to the other one and doing the same thing. The docks were eeriely quiet, not even a Scorpion patrol boat in sight. This was too easy, thought Tanya, and nothing ever is. As she finished planting the last C4 on the third shipyard, she radioed Red team
"Red One this is Tanya, Plan B is set, moving inland now. Over."
"Red One copies. Scopes is in position with a good view on the base, we're making our way down now to the side entrance. Over."
"Copy that, what's it look like up there?"
"Regular patrols, light defenses inside. Most of the defenders are at the outer gates."
"And the docks?"
"Same, sparse patrols, no activity on the water. Over."
"Roger that, stay alert, something doesn't feel right"
"Copy that, boss. Out."
Tanya was just about to start swimming to the docks when she felt something coil around her leg and was suddenly pulled down. Her eyes widened in shock, staring down at what was pulling her. This was something she had never encountered or trained for.

So yeah, i suddenly felt a little nostalgic for the game Red Alert 2, which was one of my first and most loved video games. I had thought to myself recently, who would've won, Tanya or a Giant Squid? So i came up with a story of Tanya's first encounter with the Soviet's latest experiments, mind-controlled giant squids!!!
