After doing a Sakura coloring that was very innocent, I wanted to color a Syaoran picture. At first I was going to color a very cute picture of him, but after seeing LucyMeryChan's beautiful lineart I felt like I just had to color this serious (and cool) picture of him instead.

i think red suits syaoran better since he has the "fire" in him...
i imagine him in dark blue too since he can be "cool" sometimes... i don't know why i don't imagine him in green... i forgot the meaning and symbolism of the colour too....

Ah, I see. I've always imagined Syaoran in green because of his Card Captor Sakura self who always wore that bright green battle outfit. It's as much of a trademark color for him as black is for his TRC self.
Dark blue always reminds me of Clow Reed (and his reincarnation)
I can see him in red though.

Hmm, I am a huge fan of TRC and the plotline to it (even though it was really confusing at first) but I've been a fan of CCS for as long as I can remember too. It's hard not to compare the Syaorans in CCS / TRC. Haha XD

TRC manga is awesome.... the killed the story in the anime tho... it was mostly a filler...
but the soundtrack was very nice~

Yeah, I was so disappointed with the anime. They tried to make it kid friendly but it didn't work out so well. -sigh- And the company had a kind of no-violence policy so they just did the OVAs and then dropped it.
I really did love the soundtrack, but it seemed really abrupt in the anime at times. xD

Haha xD Fai's one of my favorite characters so I can't just forgive him for that. But it really made the clone look really cool. LOL The few times I want to rewatch the anime is to see Syaoran acting cool and see the mysterious unfold animated.
