First, I would love to start off with saying Happy Birthday to MuffinzLove! Her birthday was actually a few days ago, however I've only finished coloring this now.
I wanted to work on incorporating a huger range of colors in this piece (which is a huge step out of my comfort zone so far). I also tried to pay attention to lighting and shade, but I'm not sure how well that turned out. Critiques are very much welcomed!
...I'm not sure how to make the background stand out less.
...Someone please give me some tips on how to color skin!
