Description Gah, so I'm still buried in work right now, so this little guy is pretty much the extent of my personal work these days...soon tho, I think there will be new stuff! I hope! *dies*

hi! Nope, it's actually a cardboard cutout I photographed. Photoshop is the best thing for combining images, tho. If you photograph stuff, try to do it against a solid color backgroud to make it easier to remove. there's lots of tutorials here that can get you all set up.

I love how random and crazy your personal work is. You make me want to take up a chainsaw and express myself at the elderly home over on Olive near Buena Vista. haha. Just kidding...I think.

Oh man, when you're done with the elderly, come do the school filled with small screaming children across the street. PLEEEEEASE!!!

Boo to not having time for personal art!! I hope things calm down for you soon, buddy!!

haha, and I like your perfumes in the background! I've always wanted to try that brand, what with their very unique scents (I remember the tomato, and chocolate, and cut grass ones! hahah although "Wet Garden/Pick me up" sounds pretty fun too )

teaspoons In reply to ilovegravy [2006-05-30 07:03:02 +0000 UTC]

Oh man, Demeter fragrances are the only ones I'll let near my body! I hate smelling like either a soap opera or the back seat of a highschooler's car, so that pretty much narrows my choices down. The Gingerale and Wet Garden are perfect. Plus, they have *really* wacky flavors like 'paperback' and 'Play-doh'. Now how the hell can I not like that??

Speaking of non-traditional perfumes/fragrances (and speaking of topics from over a year ago!! ) Do you like any of Philosophy's shampoo scents? I've been trying them out lately, and they're kinda hit or miss, but I LOOOVE their pumpkin pie, cinnamon buns, and waffle cone scents. Good times!

teaspoons In reply to ilovegravy [2007-07-19 03:47:43 +0000 UTC]

Yeeeees!!!! I have some unlawfully pepperminty shower gel from them right now, in fact! A few christmases ago I got a little sampler dealie with like 6 flavors and they were all amazing. Pumpkin pie is one of the best-usually I hate anything kinda baked goodsy in my shower, it weirds me out, but that shit is amazing. Margurita is also yummy. Mmmmm, now I want more!

ilovegravy In reply to teaspoons [2007-07-19 11:37:56 +0000 UTC]

Ooh yes, those sampler packs are like the gateway drugs of scented bath gels. haha I too had one of those sampler packs (mine had raspberry sorbet, blueberry muffins, chocolate chip cookies, banana bread, orange sherbert [another favorite!], caramel popcorn, and then the aforementioned cinnamon buns and pumpkin pie); my mom thought it would make a good gift, so she bought a couple, but then we had one leftover, and so it got stored in our closet... for YEARS. hahah And then a few months ago I unearthed it and figured/hoped it would still be good since I didn't want it to go to waste, and lo, they still smelled yummy! (and retained their soap qualities!) So yes, if you're ever looking for a long lasting scented shampoo/shower gel, there you go! haha

Sad but true, i was SO impressed by its longevity (almost SEVEN YEARS I think [as you can see, outdated things are a running theme in my life ]) that I went and wrote a review for epinions.com just to log it down.

I can see what you're saying about the baked goods scents being pretty weirdo foreign in the shower, but I've really come to love them. haha, I also have the cinnamon bun "spray" (which they essentially market as an air freshener to keep next to the toilet. hahah it works as a perfume too, though! [and treading on TMI, it also serves its intended purpose, hahah although I don't really like to use it for that since I don't want to develop an association with cinnabuns and bathroom activities. hahah ])

ok, enough rambling from me about scented soap and bodily functions.

I do that all the time! My feeling is, alls you have to do is shake it or throw it in the dryer, and no matter what it is, it's automatically good as new. except for fruit. i eat maybe 20% of the fruit I buy. so sad. i die of scurvy at 30.

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

ilovegravy In reply to teaspoons [2007-08-20 06:43:06 +0000 UTC]

hahah yes, I am the same way. It's so bad, cuz on one hand I am a germophobe, but on the other hand I also CAN'T STAND wasting things.

my fruit intake sucks, so I think I may die of scurvy at 30, too. I can only hope when they run our obituaries that they give us a proper pirate theme!
