Description Collaboration with the AWESOME for 's birthday! This is Kanako's awesome and bastardly Nicholas in a scene with a tree nymph who mistook him for a man she had loved long ago... and he's more than willing to play along. O_o

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KANNY!!! We both REALLY hope you like it.

OMG, thank you! Normally I avoid branches like the plague because as much as I like organic forms, tree structures elude me like nobody's business. They seemed to work out this time, though! I'm glad you like the hair winding around. I was kind of thinking of how I imagined dryad hair would be, where it's kind of merging with the twistier tree branches.

Cool! Thanks Nymphs... well, this one I guess is based more on the idea of a dryad than a nymph proper, but a dryad is a KIND of nymph... so maybe I'm not far off.

Aaah, so gorgeous Dx You guys worked together really well on this. I love the detail in your lines and the way Skioppy coloured it with that slighter darker, more edgy effect to fit his character. Beautiful

Thanks so much! Nicholas was a LOT of fun to do, I do so love pretty men with long flowy hair and ulterior motives. And yeah, she did do a great job with the colors! It was great to see her finished version.

I've seen this awesome gift yesterday night, before going to sleep, and I still have a stupid smile on my face

I LOVE IT! I never expected such a great gift, it's awesome, I can't stop loving it!
The scene is so beautiful, it's exactly what happens when these two met *__* I'm so happy to see this scene by you! I love Thenaria in your style, she's creepy and beautiful and she really remembers the forest! And this hair, twisted around the branches... awww, looove!
And Nicholas! He's so elegant! And cruel I always enjoy when he behave like this, he's such a bastard, and you depicted it very well *___*

YAAAAAY I'm so glad you like it!! Bastard Nicholas, I have to say, is a hell of a lot of fun to draw. The baddies are ALWAYS fun. And I'm so glad it works for the scene! When Raka told me about it I was like YES I TOTALLY WANT TO DO THAT ONE I HAVE AN IDEA RIGHT NOW! It was an awesome idea, I absolutely loved the scene. Usually I hate drawing trees and branches, but this time around it flowed really well, so I'm really proud of how it came out. Which is awesome, because it makes me EXTRA pleased that you like it. I hope you had a totally fantastic birthday!!

Thank you! I'm so glad you like it, and ESPECIALLY that the friend-love is evident. It was a lot of fun to do, in no small part due to the fact that it was done WITH a friend FOR a friend.
