An odd combo, I know, but it seemed like a fun idea.
And it was! I just had a sudden mood for old-timey athletics the other day. This is a combination of different uniform styles. I also needed to test how long a crosshatched drawing like this would take me compared to my regular cartoon color styles. Consensus: A bit longer.

In your personal art I always observe that you really have a love for older times from early 20th century to medieval times.

I've gotten more affection for modern stuff as of late, with the help of Zootopia, and more recently, Night in the Woods, but yes I do have a weird affinity for non-modern time periods. Heck, even 1950s and 1980's aesthetics have been my jam lately. Maybe it's a bit of a nostalgia for a time period I never lived in.

It certainly keeps your art fresh going from one time period to another. I always considered the medieval period as your main time subject though I may be wrong. I wonder if nostalgia is possible for time periods one has never lived in, though I think I understand what you mean. In most ways the past is more fascinating than the present.
