I don't know how they got their smoke to be convieniently fish-shaped. I assume it takes years of practice.
Note to fact-savvy Star Wars fans: I just made up the Great Spirit of the Garhai Fish. My bad.
Edit: dA is having issues with transparent png images? And I really wanted that effect here. Oh, well. I'll make do with slapping on the dA background colour until the issue is fixed.

Very beautiful. I really love how the fish is positioned so that it not only looks like its about to swallow a star, but one of the stars is right where the fish's eye would be. Fantastic!

I love their poses, I love their new robes, I LOVE the background, I love the concept (and I love the fact that this leaves room for...ahem, "speculation" XD). To be in this situation together requires a LOT of trust; I love how this brings them closer together.

Awww, I am super glad that you enjoyed it so! That makes it all the more a big pleasure to have drawn it for you.
It may seem arrogant, but I love the background, too, even if it is sissy. I drew it all from scratch with a few default brushes, I think I shall do this technique for all my future sky backgrounds.
Yeah, I guess they would have to have a substantial amount of trust and respect to share a ritual, especially with their closed culture. 
I think Rune'll let you borrow his electric lighter. He's just that nice. Though he'll need it back soon, for summoning giant swordfish creatures from the sky, battling Jedi, short-circuting Grievous's left leg, cooking pasta - you know, the usual stuff.

It's not arrogant at all, and certainly not sissy. It's a wonderful background; I seriously wish I could do backgrounds as well as you. Whatever you did, it came out beautifully - I shall have to experiment with some similar features in SAI.
I love the concept. In all honesty, it's something I had never considered, but seeing it, it's really quite fascinating. Given their close relation to insects of various sorts and sizes, I had never quite thought of fish. But if Garhai are considered a symbol of the powerful, then you certainly make a valid point. I wonder if Lott Dod has a fish tank somewhere in his palace.
