Happy Valentines John!!! Sorry I've been absent on dA!!! Been busy with the band and getting Radio spots...lol...Landed a radio spot feature on Irish Radio International! So am I...lol...yeah this piece is wonderful...really turned out as I envisioned it....can you believe this was originally a digital photograph of a side walk in my APT complex?...I was walking by and saw this stain which created the angler fish and saw the top part of the Mermaid queen and her crown and was immediately inspired...lol

I've posted quite a few pieces that have come from a similar inspiration of texture such as the beauty & the beast piece and the Forces of the sea piece...plan to do more...it's amazing if you take a look around... there are already art pieces in natural textures...you just have to keep your eyes open...find them & enhance the images...lol

Thank you so much! I am so glad you like it...I really was inspired by Josephine Wall and the amount of the little details she puts in her painting and I really wanted to that with this piece

Everything looks fine and dandy, but that fish reminds me of what would like "Donald Duck Show" look like if it were did in Chernobyl. That doesen't mean that i don't like it

And Tess. There is kind of a problem. I got tablet and so on, but i don't really have software to use, nor do i know how to use it. I'm using Art rage 3.5 so far, but i don't think it will work on longer distance.

Ahh gimp, gimp. I have gimp, but i have no idea how to use it. Meaning... i have three tons of brushes in it, lot's of time playing with it as a kiddo', but no idea about differences between drawing tools. I'm mostly using it to make "collages" on IT lessons, fixing my drawings before i upload them, and sometimes to mess around with random photos and combine drawer with crossbow. I've really done that XD

Just do dome test sheets and experiment with brushes...that is how I learned amd click on every tool and see what it does...
