I just listened to the music link you sent me, yeah, great lyrics, it pretty much sums up how I've been feeling in general lately. The dangers of showing any kind of weakness? Well, I've been spilling my guts and showing all kinds of "weakness" lately....and I don't regret it.
I think I really need to be emotionally honest with myself, however mis-timed, embarassing or inappropriate it may seem at the time.
Still, been spending some time with my family this weekend in the (mostly) sunny hills south of London which is really helping. AND saw my friend in town who was almost killed by a car last year. It's a long road but he's getting better and it was great just to hang out and catch up. I can't have seen him since March but, with all going on, it feels like last year! Again, a great help!

Well it's a surrealistic portrait of myself...I have really been inspired by different textures and music lately since joining Reverbnation and Soundcloud for my music and have come across really cool bands and music.... & I want to go into another direction somewhat with my art...bringing back my love of surrealism...
I am so glad you like that song...it's one of my favorites lately...really like the band too...you should check out more of their stuff...lol!!!
One should always be honest with themselves...if we are not honest with ourselves how do we expect everyone else to?
Glad you can get away from the city from time to time and gain perspective in a nice relaxing quiet manor...Awesome that you got to see your friend...I remember you telling me about that awhile ago & you were really upset about it...glad he is doing alright now...
