Description
A staple of World War II troop trains likely consisted of flatcars carrying vehicles or tanks. Usually this consisted of Jeeps, half-tracks, support vehicles and of course tanks. This is the start to my own WWII Troop Train, albeit a probably? small one.
This is the Intermountain 48715-10 50' Pere Marquette 70T Flatcar, Rd No. 16615. At a point in time, this car will likely recieve a Sherman Tank for a load to simulate a freshly built tank ready to head overseas likely to the Western front. It is also my first HO Scale Pere Marquette item too. It will primarily see service behind my NKP Mikado and will likely be adjoined by other flatcars of its type with similar WWII style loads.
