Description
"Bernard the boy!!" Ms. Bianca yelled. The rope that held Cody from the crane had snapped causing him to fall into the water below. Bernard scurried across the ground and dove into the rapid water in attempt to rescue Cody. The boy slowly sank towards the river bed, helpless and losing air each second. Bernard grabbed a hold of the rope and swam for the surface with all his strength.I love the 'Rescuer's Down Under'
It's one of the best Disney films and a favorite 
This was a fun exercise and I've learnt quite a few new tricks 
Sketched in pencil, inked and coloured in Paint SAI and rendered in Photoshop CS5

Travelling with my faithful birdie
On the outback trail, where I feel comfy
I met two strange friends, they made me curious
They took me in and gave me breakfast
And they said:
"Do you come from a land down under?
Where heroes glow and villains plunder?
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder
You don't stop, our journey is not over"
Then I met a sinister man, who was ready to tussle
He was six foot four and full of muscle
A poacher, fear and cruelty were his language
With a lizard that wanted to eat me like a sandwich
And he said:
"I come from a land down under
I hunt, I cage, I kill, that's how I prosper
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover!"
But I wasn't gonna lose Marahute that day
We defeated the poacher, and me and me friend parted ways
They saved my bird, they saved me
And now I travel my land, happy and free
And I said:
"I come from a land down under
A land of beauty, a land of wonder
My free spirit can't be torn asunder
And my quest to nurture nature will never be over"

I don't need to tell you who's my favourite character in the rescuers down under movie, cuz I am Jake the kangaroo rat in all my internet pages " IN ALL MY PAGES NO EXEPTION" XD !!! yes ( deviantart, furaffinity, youtube, facebook , twitter , inkbunny, so furry and the list go on )

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's actually Disney's first animated sequel at the time? I'd say it was executed very well. Disney should take a few pointers from that movie in regards to making sequels in general nowadays XD

I remember seeing that scene in the movie, and i saw bernard being able to drag the boy out of the water from drowning i was like that is one stong little mouse!
