NO MANIPULATION. Not even color or contrast.Just an idea I had yesterday while I was walking around campus. The leaves are actually these colors, and I still have them. No editing, I was enjoying the nice weather and took the time to find just the right set of leaves. Backdrop is my driveway.
Yes, I know there is no 'n' in 'spectrum'.

I've sold a few, actually. Unfortunately my camera is merely a Kodak point-and-shoot 5mp, so I can only print up to 11X14. Wish I could afford a digital SLR so I could sell poster prints. Thanks for the comment and

Gorgeous! I had this idea too. Well, the arranging of leaves into spectral order, not the photo taking. My sister has a leaf collection and I wanted to make a poster for her.

How cool! How long did it take you to gather all the leaves? In Florida, we don't have too much leave color changes so I really enjoy pictures like these.

WHAT AN AWESOME IDEA
almost like the life cycle of the leaf from beginning to end and in it is naturally the beautiful color transition -- maybe says something about the seasons too
I've never seen anybody do anything like this -- amazing concept
i dont really see anything technically wrong with the photo that could be touched up...but then again its 12:30am and my contacts are drying out so maybe i'm not the right guy to ask at the moment
the colors are brilliant enough for sure though that any attempt to adjust in photoshop would be overkill
it would be interesting to see this same concept with the red carried even darker and then to brown and dead, shriveled up scrunchily leaves?

You can always get better at the technical part, the really hard thing is to find that image, find the picture you want... Your eally got this one! a very nice photo indeed.

Thank you! I'm really glad that somebody liked it. Actually I'm not too worried about the technical part, I'm planning to get a digital SLR by next spring, and then I'll be able to develop that aspect. I think I'm going to submit this on my other account as a desktop background... what do you think?

But thats what I mean, you shouldn't worry about it. It's a great shot, and great shots tend to be, well, simply great..!
