I love how you carried this wispy, light feel throughout your piece. The clouds of the planet below, the downy wisps of feather on the dragon's body, even the nebula in the background. The entire composition in tandem with the pastel pinks and whites and blues give the work a quality of airiness while the anatomical qualities and pose of the dragon maintain a sense of simultaneous strength and delicacy. It keeps to the theme of Virgo - the grace, the femininity - Β yet turns the misconception of overbearing daintiness often associated with the constellation on its head.Β
In short, this is one of my favorites of your 2013 Zodiac if not one of my favorites of yours, period. Magnificent work.

You are probably the most unique when it comes to your approach. This reminds me of the Nodes in astrology. The Lunar Nodes are representative of the dragon that governs the ecliptic. North Node is representative of the 'unfamiliar', representing a chance to experience new things and the most rewarding and beneficial. The south node represents the familiar, where our talents from the past lie, but where we get too comfortable and not as rewarding. These signs of the dragons reminded me of that! Its so fabulous! The one of Virgo is just astonishing!
