AND speaking of a lack of art, I finally finished this one! Featuring Rune the Nightwing

So short synopsis is in my HC, Queen Vigilance (see Darkstalker Legends) had a twin sister, and as their mother died of unknown means, neither could decide of who should rule. But as Princess Diligence has a lesser following, she and her Nightwings fled, taking to a small chain of islands. Her Nightwings lived undistributed, and leaned more towards seers and prophets.

Unlike her sister, Diligence didn't seek out or delight in the prospect of war, and kept a very peaceful kingdom. They currenty share the islands with a few rogue Seawings, working together to ensure a stable ecosystem.

And thus, we have this absolute darling right now. A few thousand years down the track and Rune here hatchet with a blue and red eye, and covered in, as her name suggests, runes. No one known what they are or why they're there, but so far Rune and her family have discovered they evoke powerful visions, and quite often burn. The current queen, Queen Lua, suspects a curse of unknown origin.

Now the reason this took so long is because of how dark it was. It made shading rather difficult and so shot my patience.

And I tried lighting!!!!! I'm so happy with it!!!!
