-- 2012 REBOOT IS HERE ! --friend of mine requested a tattoo design involving a peacock with its tail fading into water, and a koi swimming in the water.
watercolor, normal, and verithin prismacolors, micron/faber-castell ink. background cleanup, stroke, and eye highlights added in photoshop cs.

the koi symbolises strength, and the peacock pride?
at least thats what i thought they do, ive got a koi on one hip a nd in the process of designing a peacock for the other, mainly beacuse of that they mean..

I love this tattoo, as many people seem to. I was wondering if at all you could design a koi fish tattoo for me, i have the idea but i haven't been able to find anyone who had enough skill drawing koi fish, and you clearly do. Just let me know. Thanks for your time.

Yeah, It's fine, although I would find it interesting to know what other people think it means, as it's got a very deep meaning to me and I don't think a lot of people read into it as far as I do. Most people just think "oooh, pretty image"

I also want to get something like this. I love the idea and you did it beautifully. I'm going to take this is as a reference (if you don't mind) and have the woman that does my tattoos customize it. So, it's not the same. Only if it's ok with you!

probably. don't worry, though, you've got what, three years before you're even legal for a tattoo? you'll probably change your mind re: what you want, or if you don't, that's plenty of time to come up with your own peacock/koi design to use. :3
