My first bit of fanart from my currently favorite games, the Jak and Daxter trilogy.

Let me just say right now that I am head over heels for Daxter. I love him to bits. (Not the same way I love Vlad or Jhonen, mind you.) It's kinda funny that when I first played "The Precursor Legacy", I hated him, largely due to his blocky animation and annoying voice. When I began to play "Jak 2", however, I fell in love with his greatly improved animation. Ottsels are flecking adorable. His voice grew on me, too. By about 7 minutes into "Jak 2", I was in love. I have a HUGE soft spot for quick-witted, sarcastic guys who have a slight inferiority complex. This describes Dax in spades. I now can't imagine ever hating him. Funny how these things happen, ne? (Side note: Ironically, I used to dislike Danny Phantom too..........until Vlad walked on the screen. 8D)

I had so much fun drawing this guy. I think the next time I draw him, I'll draw him before he became an ottsel. He was cute then, too.
