Lounge from a client's house. Don't like the fireplace. Thinking of doing it again or removing it completely and putting something else there (for DA only as clients house does in fact have a fireplace there).Related content

Very powerful rig. Those hair particle on carpet is difficult to render.

I can't remember the exact render time (somewhere in the region of 10 minutes) with my computer. Core i5 2.7GHz Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB 8Gb Ram (not very powerful at all).

It must be more than 1 hour for cycles. But for Internal is less than that, as your rig has surpassed Internal requirement. Internal has been dormant, no update since 4 years ago, so it become static now.

I'll look for the blendfile and try a render again to see just how long the scene took.
