A simple oekaki of Legendz's Shiron the Windragon. I wanted to experiment with more muted colors here in order to get a different effect
The title of the pic is inspired from a song title of that by Singer/Songwriter Paul Davis. I dedicate this picture in memory of him (He passed away in April '08)

Oooh, I really like what you did with the colors. I think you definitely achieved the effect you were going for there. It gives everything kind of a softer feel.
I like this one. It just kinda... makes you feel a little down when you look at it. But that's not a bad thing! It's great that you can mess with peoples' emotions even through a picture or something.

I had the linked song playing as I drew this one. I think we've all dealt with loss in one way or another, rather it be the death of a loved one, or the loss of a love. Those commonality of emotions was definitley one thing I was trying to reach in this pic.

That's no problem! Actually, Legendz is a Japanese cartoon. It's a bit more obscure outside of Japan (although I've heard it's been recently dubbed in Spanish)

Legendz has often been compared to Digimon. It's very light-hearted at first, but grows darker as the series progresses.
