I have Nothing against his new look, it's the personnality and stupidity they add in him in sonic boom that occured me because Knuckles isn't dumb. He is naive but he knows how to think about a serious and random situation. Even if sometimes, he let his pride take advantage but he was never DUMB!

seriously, I don't mind Knuckles' design, the problem is that they changed him into a muscle headed idiot with a massive, undeserved, ego. I know the comics and games aren't technically canon with each other but didn't the Boom writers at least play the Sonic Adventure games?

Where he is tricked easily by Eggman, smashes the master emerald himself, and also crashes the shuttle heading toward ARK? The only time Knuckles was clever was in Sonic 3 and Knuckles and even THERE he was tricked by Eggman.

I didn't say he was clever, I said he wasn't an idiot.Β His isolation made him naive and easy to fool, since he didn't know what lying was like, he smashed the master emerald because he KNEW he could easily restore it and that would prevent it from being stolen, and he crashed the space shuttle because...well do YOU think you can fly a space shuttle?Β There are spaces between mary-sue level genius and retarded moron, which is where Knuckles USED to inhabit (actually Tails and Amy have been going the opposite direction, becoming hyper competent at everything, but for now those changes aren't as offensive or out of character.)
