This summer I took a photo when I strolling in my grandparents countryside home which was the one I used as a reference for this painting ^^ I really love being there because of all the nature surrounding me and the quiet of the nights (and days). Everyone knows each other and everyone shares what they cultivate (when I was there with a few friends, some neighbours came by house to bring us vegetables and potatoes for lunch! They gave us so many that we ended up bringing home each other haha). I know I probably wouldn't be able to live there permanently (as it is far from the main cities and work) but I surely love going there on my vacations and rest! <3

This was painted only with gouaches. I tried to be more careful with color mixing so it wouldn't look way too off like sometimes XD the road has weird purple reflexes because in the photo it already had that coloring! I don't know why, maybe it was the angle I took the photo. But regardless, I wanted to try being faithful to the reference so I also added it xD
