"Biologically, Edenians aren't much different from Earthrealmers. The primary thing separating us are their lifespans. Princess Kitana is 10,000 years old by our calendar, and physically she's about my age. Compared to them, even the high end of our lifespan is practically a blink of an eye. However, because we're so biologically similar, it's possible for our people to breed together as long as certain conditions are met to confirm compatibility. Edenian women can use their 'Kiss of Fate' to make Earthrealm men compatible for mating, but it's an extremely dangerous process. Even if we're biologically similar, that doesn't mean our bodies can easily adjust to their lifespans.

The Kiss of Fate sends a signal to our bodies to produce enough life energy to match an Edenian lifespan. However, the kiss by itself isn't nearly enough to make our bodies accept that overflow of life energy. Essentially, it packs thousands of years of life into a body that was only meant to take a hundred years at best. Our bodies produce the excess life energy as volatile fat, and that leads to the 'expansion' I've shown in other reports. This fat is brimming with unstable life energy, and this is what lead to the explosive rupturing of the victims in those report. With no way to stop the buildup of energy, the victim's body overloads and pops in gory fashion. They are filled with so much life that it kills them.
