If you've walked through Texas' Hill Country clay with barefeet, you'll realize their isn't much on Earth that can hurt worse.

They only look good from a distance but hiking through them is a different matter. Tons of mosquitoes and its gets hot but the view when you get to higher points is somewhat worth it.
