Description
my second attemps for a realistic dragonusing bits of reptile pictures and a sketch
as a base. (more than 15hours of work...)

This is so amazing, I have been trying to exually try to draw realistic but you used Photo's am I correct?

from Sketch, to shading to the photo part.
I'm pulling my hair out to make something like this.

Using a sketch as a base layer, I added bits of photos from reptiles. Then fixed color and light/shade to unify all layers. Finally added some flames from stock photos and a matching background. Simple as that! ....only thing is that final image had more that 40 layers of photos used and adjustment layers, hehe

Do you have any tricks or tecniques you use to make it more realistic? I'm improving on my own art, But I cant figure out the right color scheme and what not to make it look more.. Life like.
