Description I recently picked up on a technique called freelensing where you actually disconnect your lens from your camera and have a bit of a minuscule gap between the lens and the camera. The results are always sporadic because you can tilt the lens to get different kinds of results.

The picture above is completely unedited as well. There's something about the winter time that I always find very calming.

I tried freelensing with video and the results were equally as abstract.

If you notice on the bottom right of the screen, there is some metadata that is missing. I was shooting with a standard Canon 50mm f1.8 lens.

thanks! it's a really cool effect too if you have the patience to try it out too. i was using a 50mm f1.8 and there was definitely a lot of bokeh going on.
