LooksΒ like the front half of the ship can detach from the, I'm guessing here, cargo/engine section. A lt like how the Enterprise D can detach its saucer section

Strange indeed - this is what happens when I trying drawing before I have had my coffee in the morning. I imagine it being some sort of old class of ship that has been refitted again and again so that it is a "hodge-podge" (is that a word?) of systems and features. Cheap, nasty but gets the job done.

I agree - I imagine that is pretty much how the Millennium Falcon was put together. And no other ship has as much character, as far as I am concerned.Β

Have to agree on the Klingon stuff - the Bird of Prey to me is one of the best designs out there as far as ships with character go.

Thanks very much. Not sure what I was thinking with the drives on the back of the superstructure, but it might still work with some reworking.
