By the way, have you've beaten Fire Emblem: Fates: Conquest Hard difficulty on Classic Mode yet? Since you did say you would try to beat it before making FE artwork.

Yep. Back in Melee, it was Marth who was better, and so it would be. But then, in Smash (for 3DS/Wii), Roy came along, and according to some, he's way better than Marth, Lucina, Ike, AND Robin. But I know for a fact he's outclassed by Corrin, because Corrin has long-range use (like Robin), but almost matches Ike's raw power up close. He's way more versatile in a number of matchups.

Still, considering the anime only had 2 episodes, that makes the F-ZERO anime a success in comparison, wouldn't you say? But then again, we had a live action Dr. Strange adaption (Marvel Comics) that never got greenlit, finding success through other means like more comic appearances and games, and now a movie. This is where Fire Emblem rose: the manga (there are quite a few manga on the games) and the games (even a trading card game).

I think Fire Emblem and/or Zelda would make for a good anime series. The old Legend of Zelda cartoon didn't do all that much justice to the Zelda series and their portrayal of Link isn't quite how many imagined in the games. I mean, when I think of Link, I imagine someone like Tomako Angel in character; the TV show portrayed him more like a rebellious teenager or something. Eh, at least it was better than the Zelda CGI clips.

But, yeah, I think Fire Emblem should've gotten an extended lineup of episodes, especially now, as Fire Emblem constructs a late game hype. Hell, who knows, maybe a new F-Zero anime would be all Nintendo needs to revive the F-Zero hype.

Typical American marketing we should call that. There were quite a few rebellious teens back in the day, but goodness...when the Western people want to make a game series popular through other media, they sure go through a lot, distorting what the character represents. Thankfully, Fire Emblem was spared the fate of Super Mario Super Show and the Legend of Zelda cartoon. 

Let's hope they don't repeat the mistake of a new character as a protagonist like last time. That killed any popularity that the F-ZERO anime would have gotten. Plus, the story needs to reflect a stoic and purposeful Captain Falcon...not this...memetic, mythologized pretender the internet loves.
