Description The winner takes it all

(Yes, I do know that the sword might cause problems soon; maybe he knows, too, but simply doesn't care?)

Working on a 10 year old sketch I added a lot of details, among those the treasure chest which really helps setting the mood

I actually like the way you drew the sword. It has a primitive viking look about it.

Thanks, Rob, I'm glad you like it; that's what I wanted the sword to look, though, as so often, I was too lazy to look for reference material

By the way, when I mentioned problems with the sword, I was referring to the golden rule "Keep your weapons and prisoners separated at all times", else the situation might turn a bit tricky

I am going to have to recheck my Norse mythology. I thought the Valkyries (WalkΓΌren) were supposed to carry off the warriors, not the warriors carrying off the Valkyries.

Every rule has room for an exception; I guess for now this guy prefers his own Valhalla, Odin will understand

Hey, you perfectly described the girls I try to draw

(looks at the thermometer) Strange... has it gotten warmer in here? (begins to sweat)

Oh, seems to me she doesn't very much like where this is going, so I'd see closer relations to "Treasures"... these girls could exchange some experiences (...and we'd very much like to listen in)

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoy

I'd call that a good day's haul - TWO treasures!

I thought you said you didn't like drawing guys? You did a good job... Oh... She looks really, really pissed. Maybe she doesn't like travelling backwards?

Yes, indeed I don't like drawing men, though of course I admit there are scenes that just work better with a guy, that's why I then try to find ways to hide his features, to deny him personality and presence... he's there, but she's the unrivaled center of attention.
And perhaps she's just jealous that he has the bigger butt...

I notice a lot of your fantasy padlocks look similar. Guess its a favorite design?

Yes, you're right, I'm not very diversified when it comes to padlocks... this is the one I see as classical, and so use it pretty often, though I'm not very sure if I ever saw one quite like this, or just put together an amalgam of different locks to get something a bit fanciful, but with enough strength and straightforwardness to demand respect
