This is a rather old picture, my style was "cartoonier" back then.
I like the strong lines, and the often exaggerated, exuberant aesthetics of cartoon characters, but in my experience with adding more details you have to get closer to realism or it looks phoney.

...oh, and I like girls doing "normal" stuff while wearing cuffs... but I think you already guessed...
