Description Value study of basic volumes. A simple sketch that turned into a paint (my first ever )--found out that the "Real Pencil" brushes look like analogue pencils when making lines, but don't blend and smear in the same manner.

Painter 12, Intuos 3.

Critique welcome.

Amazing! It looks like you actually drew these by hand! Also, I love the soft lines- the only form that need improvement is the cylinder, as it's not very distinguished from the background.

Thanks for the kind words; I totally agree that the cylinder melts too much into the background. In fact, the values in this piece are a mess in general. I hope to do some more value studies soon; it's really a weak point in my (rather poor) skillset.

It's pretty good other wise, like your other work. Keep it up!
