Description One of 200 shots I took of a ballerina in her studio. It was one of the hottest days of the year. My assistant and I were quite miserable. The ballerina was so enchanted with being able to dress up in the traditional costumes (she normally teaches little children ballet) that she forgot all about the heat. Shot in RAW format.

As I watch this picture, more and more details come out of the mist. First I loved the softness of it, than the lighting, the pose, the dress... Now I love the house behind the window and her reflection in the glass.
I fell in love with this photo, and I'm afraid I cannot exactly explain why. The story had part in it for sure, but otherwise I am lost for words.

No tape. Half black pro mist. Works great!

It's a filter that is placed over the lens. It's available at any high end photography shop.

i love all of the dancer shots...it makes me wonder if i would have stuck with it, would I have made it to the ABA? Now, I'll stick with the photographs.
