birthday present for my mum ~Fabric-ant: )
we had an intense 2 weeks blacksmithing course and this was one of the things that came out of it. it looked nice just in its basic form, but then i think the filings around the edge are what give it the final touch to make it into something special. i'm very happy with this one.
the string is made from cotton threads if i remember right and done after instructions from a book

At first I thought it was a photograph of a chameleon/snake's tail curving around a treebranch! Thats how naturalistic its curves and patterning look

thank you! didn't do anything to the surface other than filing the groves, otherwise it's just the wrought iron's basic texture

The curve and the spiral on this are amazing. The filing catches the light beautifully and makes the whole thing really eyecatching. Great work!
