I could imagine the man in the moon having Binx become a Guardian, the Guardian of Halloween.

I'm surprised that nobody hasn't written a fanfic cross over.
I can imagine Binx teaming up with the Guardians to defeat Pitch Black, also Binx and Jack are good friends for they both have beloved sisters they love so very much.

Yeah wouldn't that be something? Though I kind of feel like I get paid to do fanart, considering all I do all day is animate South Park characters. :S

I thought the EXACT same thing! They're both boys living in colonial New England, both end up sacrificing themselves for their little sisters, both are transformed into new supernatural states, and then both wait exactly 300 years for the rest of the movie to pick up. They're totally BFF.

I know this comment is old, but I have to point out your mistakes!
Neither of them are from New England. Thackery is from Salem,Β MassachusettsΒ and Jack is from Burgess, Pennsylvania.
Neither of them sacrificed for their sisters. Emily was already dead from the witches when Thackery was turned and Jack accidently feel into the cracked ice after saving Ana.

You know I actually thought the exact same thing while watching the movie and I'm pretty sure I know why.
In RotG there's Jack's memories that keep repeating his name right in that ghostly eerie girl voice, yea? Ok well in Hocus Pocus Thackery's sister calls his name a few times in LIKE THE SAME VOICE(I remember it being at the end at least, I can't remember if she calls his name elsewhere).
So yes -- I see why you saw that because so did I and I'm awesome like that. : P

Jack's from the 1700's.
Jack's human life died, yes. But he was brought back to life, so he's not dead. As you see him breath-the dead don't breath.

True dat. Well now that I made the association no doubt you'll hear Emily's voice the next time you watch RotG xDD

Bahaha! I can see that. And was I the only one who didn't get the bed thing at first? I saw the bed and I was like, "Oh he must have lived there or something"... And then around the end when Pitch got sucked back in I got it because I'm so like that.
Oh bless the children. Except for when they cry at the beginning of the movie because they want popcorn and their parents didn't get any...

Here is a prime example of childhood:
First you have Thackery Binx, one of the heroes of my first childhood.
And then Jack Frost, the hero of my childhood's recent rebirth.
Thank you. You have made my five hour layover into a Montana blizzard worth while.

Well, they're both supernatural, so the theory makes sense to me.
