--- Update--- Question, anything I can improve upon? Some people find this creepy, usually the face. I'm open to critiques. Maybe the green of the eyes are just not set right?--- EDIT: Updated Higher Quality Version ---
My first MLP 3D model. I've seen a lot of 3D ponies around, but not much of Spike. I hope it's considered a good translation to 3D.
SPIKE 3D Model:
Made using ZBrush and Hexagon. ZBrush was used to create the base mesh with ZSpheres, plus posing and painting. Hexagon took over the rest of the modeling, topology, to finish the model, especially the face. I may post some progress images.
LIBRARY Background loop:
The endless loop Library background was created with 4-5 screenshots from the episode "Owl's Well That Ends Well."
3D Print:
I most likely will turn this into a 3D print at Shapeways, which other fans have used to print MLP figures.

Hi , I know that you can't do any request now but can you do some Ben 10 Models (For Garry Mod/Source Flimmaker) . See, I'm making this 3D Movie called: Blitz 10/ Ben 10 : A Hero Legacy in Source Filmmaker or in 3D Max. But the problem is that I don't know how to model. So we can't have any Aliens like Fourarms or Shocksquatsh. I sent this to other people too, like Neros1990. You name will be in Credits from Modelers. Thank You and please reply !

I think the issue people are taking is the mouth is rather wide. For an original style it's awesome, but the canon style has a much narrower jaw, and a tiny bit more of a chin. This actually makes him look a little older.
I think aside from that everything is probably spot on, unless the eyes maybe need to be moved down a point or two, maybe make the irises a hair bigger. But, hiding the mouth and looking at him from the nose-up, he looks pretty close to an exact 3D version of the 2D style.

I think he's very lovely and happy, and though the contrast of the lighting changes on him seem to have extra contrast. Not a big deal, especially for such a wonderful 3D piece of a wonderfully rendered dragon, plus his writing table and other implements. Normally I'd break something down into frames to see what's what, but it's clear that the "static" background is beautifully designed to work at any angle, especially the vestibule, stairs, ladder, and even Poochy Owloysius. That's pretty impressive in itself (and saves from needing to render every single book!)
