haha yes it is, i love that beautiful duck, they are very shy sometimes at my local wetlands in london which is like 5 mins away

Here's another colourful bird from the tropical house [link] Can't wait for the spring when I hope they thin the foliage in there so you stand a better chance of seeing the birds. Only saw the ducks and snowy crested robin chat on the last two visits.

the wood duck at WWT London is in a very dim lit pool due to all the trees and foliage, you have to catch him just right..

I caught mine at about feeding time when they were lured out into the open
